NSD 2014 is still just under a year away, so what better time to bring you our first 2014 edition of the Alamo City Top 20. The list includes local and Greater San Antonio area recruits. Our rankings are complied by the following factors: in game review, analyst evaluation, feedback from current and opposing coaches.

1. Derick Roberson DE (Brennan HS) 6'3.5" 225lbs 4.7

A lightning quick D-end off the edge with good size. Great athleticism and speed. Committed to Texas. 4 star recruit.

2. Justin Stockton RB (Steele HS) 5'10" 175lbs 4.4

Has clocked sub 4.4 time, as fast as 4.34. Can run between and outside of the tackles. Good hands as a receiver. Committed to Texas Tech over offers from Boise State, OU, UCLA, UH and others.

3. Arrion Springs DB (Roosevelt HS) 6'0" 190bs 4.45

Is well built and has a strong frame. Primarily played safety as a junior, but has the hips and quickness to possibly play corner at the next level. Excels in 1 on 1 coverage.

4. Josh Malin DE (Steele HS) 6'6" 240lbs

UTSA has offered, along with 5 other programs. Has daunting size and strength. Currently a 3 star recruit by

Our staff saw 3 of his junior games and each time was more impressing than the last. Relentless motor, super quick and explosive off the line. Picked up Mizzou offer recently.

6. Dimitri Flowers TE/WR (Churchill HS) 6'2" 220lbs

Strong frame with good speed. Shows good hands and a knack for making plays. Projects as a tweener.

7. Byron Daniels WR (Madison HS) 6'1" 170lbs

Good speed and polished route runner. Will catch the ball in traffic or on the fly. Can add weight to his frame.

8. Matthew Simmons DE (Steele HS) 6'4" 220lbs 4.75

Quick off the edge. For a DE, above average athlete. Still learning the position and getting stronger. Can easily put on 10-20 pounds before the next level. Attended UTSA Jr day.

9. Cody Ennis QB (Madison HS) 6'5" 230lbs 4.9

Top QB in the area for 2014. Has a cannon for an arm. No problem chucking it 60-65 yards. Great size and has shown good accuracy when healthy and underrated mobility.

10. Jonathan Jackson RB (East Central HS) 6'0" 190lbs 4.5

Very good blend of size, speed and power. Rare to go down on first contact. Shows good agility, but is very disciplined in looking for the hole and hitting it.
