The offensive showcase that is 2013 UTSA Baseball continued Wednesday night in Corpus Christi as UTSA downed TAMUCC 19-4. InsideRunnerSports takes a look at some of the numbers from another offensive onslaught.

Infielder RJ Perucki had a career night, leading the Roadrunners in another strong offensive showing that amassed 19 runs on 22 hits.

Perucki went 3 for 5 with a homerun and 7 RBIs. A few other players had exceptional games as well: catcher John Bormann went 4 for 5 while infielder Horacio Correa III went 4 for 6 from the plate.

For the season, UTSA has totaled a staggering 59 runs in 5 games. Also, no position player is hitting under .300 for the ‘Runners.

Not to be overlooked is the timely pitching UTSA has received. Middle reliever Nolan Trabanino was credited with the win as he pitched five innings of scoreless baseball.

Another statistic to take note of: after committing 8 errors in the first three games of the season, Wednesday night's game was the second straight game of error for baseball.

This is the first time since 2008 that a UTSA Baseball squad has started 5-0. That season, UTSA won the regular season conference championship as a member of the Southland.

Head Coach Jason Marshall takes his squad east to face Louisiana Lafayette for a three-game weekend series beginning Friday.
