Spring Tour: Southmoore HS (OK)

Just last week we updated you on Tyler Bowling, an O-lineman from Yukon HS and now the staff recently paid a visit to Southmoore HS to take a look at a pair of teammates. Here's the latest stop on our Spring Tour.

Jalen Adams 6'0" 170lbs 4.4

Is being recruited as a WR by UTSA. Jalen spoke with the staff and they like how he has the ability to separate and spread the field. He's a threat to go vertical every time.

"I'm a good deep threat. I'm very explosive with the ball, have good hands and vision in seeing the field. I play smart and study what can I do to beat my opponent," said Adams.

Tulsa has already offered, with Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Stanford, Baylor, and Alabama are all showing some interest. As for the 'Runners, it's a new name to Adams. He started to get mail during the recruiting process and has started to learn more about the budding program.

"I like how they play at the Alamodome, the conference they're in (C-USA). Those things are pretty cool."

As a junior Adams finished with nearly 800 yards and 8 TD's. He was an All-City Selection.

Jaelon Walker 5'10" 180lbs 4.5

His teammate, is drawing looks too and the staff currently has him slotted as an athlete. If you ask Walker, he doesn't have a problem whether he ends up on offense or defense at the next level.

He does not report any offers, but along with UTSA, Northern Illinois, Kansas State, Tulsa, Oklahoma State, and SMU are all showing interest with either letters and or stopping by.

A bit of surprise, Walker is a little more familiar with the program, compared to most out of state recruits.

"I've heard of UTSA because of the talks about a football program that was being launched and I have family in the San Antonio area," said Walker.

On offense he was used in multiple looks last season, either at the slot or running back. He has the athleticism, agility and burst that usually end up in good things happening when he gets the ball.
