POST GAME QUOTES
Head Coach Brooks Thompson
"There were a lot of good things that happened. They came out really aggressive and were face-guarding us and it affected us. In the second half we came out and played better, we don't have any quit in us. We made a few bad decisions late in the game, that's not quitting that's just learning and trying to do what we do to win game wins."
"You look at their whole team (UTEP), as long as they are and as athletic as they're hard to score against. They're a good basketball team but we came back and had chances. I thought we shot ourselves in the foot and I thought they made some good plays to win the game."
"Our guys have to feel like they can play with anybody. The last two teams are battling for the championship. We were right there and just made the mistakes at the end. They're going to go in there confident. "
UTSA will be the 13th seed in the Conference USA Tournament and fact East Carolina on Tuesday, March 11 at a time to be determined.
