Moeller Headed to Bears Mini-Camp

On Monday, Former UTSA Tight End Jeremiah Moeller announced he will be heading to the Chicago Bears' Mini-Camp.

New Braunfels Canyon native and former UTSA Tight End Jeremiah Moeller is headed to the Chicago Bears Mini-Camp this coming weekend.

Moeller announced the news via his twitter account today stating: "Looks like I'll be packing my bags for Chicago this weekend!"

UTSA Tight End's Coach Charlie Reeve also announced the news on twitter:

Moeller, who played in all 12 games for UTSA in 2013 as a team captain, becomes the first former Roadrunner to make an NFL Mini Camp.

Moeller attended the NFL Super Regional Combine in Indianapolis back in April. His performance impressed Chicago Head Coach Marc Trestman and GM Phil Emery, who were both in attendance at the combine, enough to earn a Mini Camp invite.

During that combine, Moeller ran a 4.77 - 40; recorded 26 bench reps of 225lbs, leaped 35" vertically, and ran the 3-cone drill at 7.14 seconds.

Measured in at 6'2" and 235lbs, Moeller projects in the NFL as a Full Back, Tight End, and/or H-Back.

NFL Free Agency began on May 11. The Chicago Bears Mini Camp begins May 16 and concludes May 18.
